Overview
13th Annual UF Health Stroke Conference. This is an annual conference provided by UF Vascular Neurology Physicians and UF Health Comprehensive Stroke Center. The program is intended to target primary care physicians, specialty stroke physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, pharmacists, OT, PT, Speech therapists, radiology and paramedics. This is the third year that UF Health Gainesville and UF Health Jacksonville have jointly participated in the conference.

2026 UF Health Stroke Conference! 



Submission Guidelines

  • There is no limit to the number of abstracts an author may submit.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English using the online system through the symposium web page.  Abstracts submitted via fax or email will not be accepted.
  • There is a limit of 2500 characters for the text of the abstract.
  • The maximum file size for images is 4MB.
  • The abstract should contain the principal details of the study:  background, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Revisions will not be accepted, so please ensure accuracy prior to submission.
  • Poster presenters must register under their applicable registration category (at stroke.cme.ufl.edu/register/) upon acceptance in order to present.
    • If the author(s) and/or co-author(s) are not able to be present but wish to submit a poster to be displayed at the conference, a designee may be assigned to drop off the printed posted at the conference site.   
  • All expenses (e.g. registration, airfare, lodging, etc.) associated with the submission and presentation are the responsibility of the presenter. 

 

Poster Specifications:

  • Poster stands will be 4ft (tall) x6ft (wide). Posters should be no smaller than 3x5 and no larger than 4x6.
  • Posters will be affixed to the boards using push pins. Push pins will be provided.
  • Presenters are responsible for printing their own posters.
