Overview

This course focused on understanding Tics and Tourette Syndrome in the school. This program consists of 8 learning modules that include lectures, research articles, reflection activities, videos, interactive learning and more.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (8.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (8.00 hours)

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Recognize the symptoms and learning difficulties that students with Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders encounter in the school.
  2. Identify at least five easy strategies that they can utilize in the classroom to help increase success with students living with Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders
  3. Name at least five resources that can benefit students with Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders in the school environment.
