Welcome to the abstract submission portal for the

2025 University of Florida International Aortic Symposium! 

Abstract Poster Submission Guidelines

  • Authors may submit an unlimited number of abstracts.
  • Abstracts must be written in English and submitted via the symposium web page. Submissions via fax or email will not be accepted.
  • The abstract text is limited to 2,600 characters, excluding titles, authors, institutions, tables, and images.
  • The maximum file size for images is 4MB.
  • Abstracts should include key study details: background/aim, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Drug names must align with international nomenclature.
  • Submissions may include:
    • Original Research
    • Video Presentations
    • Novel Case Reports
    • Innovative Technology Applications
    • “How I Do It” Contributions
  • The symposium’s planning committee will select abstracts for moderated poster presentations and will determine the top two abstracts for featured presentation on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The selected authors will receive complimentary registration for the 2026 University of Florida International Aortic Symposium in December 2026.
  • Revisions will not be accepted, so ensure accuracy before submission.
  • Abstracts must be submitted by October 30, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered. Submission acknowledges consent for abstracts to be published in the official program.
  • Authors will receive acceptance or rejection notifications via email no later than November 4, 2025.
  • Presenting authors must be registered participants in the University of Florida International Aortic Symposium. Registration must be completed by November 14, 2025, to guarantee inclusion in the program and scheduling for presentation.
  • Presenting authors must submit full disclosure forms before the symposium. They may not be employees of ineligible companies if the abstract content relates to their employer’s business line or products.
  • All expenses (e.g., registration, airfare, lodging) related to submission and presentation are the responsibility of the presenter.

Case Video Submission Guidelines

  • Each case video submission must be accompanied by a typed abstract.
  • All video submissions that are accepted should be accompanied by a physical poster.
  • Case videos may be no longer than 10 minutes.
  • Live English narration is required for all submissions; videos without narration will not be considered.
  • The maximum initial file size is 115MB. If accepted, authors may submit a larger file size for presentation.
  • Acceptable video formats: MOV, MP4, WMV.
  • Title slides are optional, but they must not include author names or institutions.
  • Authors are responsible for providing their own laptops and monitors; the conference will supply tables and electricity.
  • All expenses (e.g., registration, airfare, lodging) related to submission and presentation are the responsibility of the presenter.
