Rheumatology Grand Rounds Gainesville 2025

The program is a regularly scheduled one-hour segment to include updates on: 1) rheumatology diseases, syndromes and management plans, 2) new information about ethical, medicolegal issues, and regulatory requirements, and 3) innovative concepts and theories in the practice of rheumatologic medicine.


AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), ABIM MOC Part 2 (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (1.00 hours)

1. Discuss current protocols and trends in total knee arthroplsty (TKA).
2. Identify immunosupressive treatments to pause in patients providing proficient patient outcomes.
3. Review most common surgical indications, benefits, and complications of TKA.

The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes a participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1 MOC point in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
