The overall objective for HIV/AIDS Grand Rounds is to provide up-to-date information on HIV management for adults, adolescents, and children.


AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (1.00 hours)

1. Integrate up to date evidence-based information to their clinical practice when providing HIV and STD medical care
2. Implement creative outreach tactics to increase HIV and STD testing and engagement in medical care
3. Describe the principles of HIV prevention, including Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and HIV perinatal prevention
4. Examine their own racial, sexual, gender, historical, and cultural biases to improve their interpersonal and professional skills to have a powerful impact in patients’ outcomes and health equity.
