Student Health Sports Medicine Education Series - Gainesville - 2026

This series provides lectures that cover topics required for completion of the sports medicine fellowship and to update knowledge to better serve athletes and patients of all ages with sports injuries and illnesses. Two one-hour lectures are held every Friday from 8-10am in person at the Student Health Care Center and via Zoom.


AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (1.00 hours)

1. Recognize conditions and improve management of musculoskeletal conditions affecting our patients
2. Identify and treat musculoskeletal related injuries and illnesses that occur in physically active patients
3. Manage active patients with combined diagnoses of musculoskeletal conditions and acute/chronic illnesses

The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
