55th Annual UF Radiation Oncology Research Seminar

The goal of the Radiation Therapists’ and Oncology Nursing Seminar is to discuss oncology nursing, radiation therapy, and other cancer treatment techniques and disseminate research outcomes on the efficacy of those treatments. The event will take place on February 28, 2025, at the Hilton UF Conference Center over approximately 8 hours (one day). Presenters will include faculty, residents, nurses, physicists, physicians and other health professionals.

1. Recognize and interpret reported radiotherapy success rates.
2. Explain methods to manage treatment side effects and reduce the occurrence of treatment complications.
3. Describe techniques and results of treatments related to various cancers.

Credit Statement:
Suwannee River Area Health Education Center, Inc. (SRAHEC) is a Florida Board of Nursing and Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling approved provider of continuing education.  SRAHEC, American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), Florida Department of Health (FDOH) Bureau of Radiation Control, and Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) pending approval.

Written refund requests must be received at least 14 days prior to the course. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN within 14 days of the course. Substitutions are allowed with advance notice. Refund and/or substitution requests must be received in writing by email.

The University of Florida is not responsible for travel arrangements, travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such a cancellation.
