Skill Building Module 1 - Implementing Mental Health Screening Tools

  • Overview
  • Begin

Date & Location
Thursday, January 18, 2024, 12:00 AM - Saturday, January 17, 2026, 12:00 AM

Overview

This series is part of the formal educational component of the North Central Florida Pediatric Psychiatry Collaborative, part of the Statewide Behavioral Health Initiative out of the Florida Department of Health, Children's Medical Services. The UF Behavioral Health Hub provides consultation to pediatric primary care providers to enable them to take on management of entry and intermediary level behavioral health needs in their practices, as well as case management support for therapy and other psychosocial resources. The series helps develop the knowledge base, skills, and competencies necessary for pediatric primary care practitioners to provide this level of care to children and families within their practice. The UF Gainesville Hub works with 3 practices at this time, but will be expanding to include many other practices under the UF Pensacola Hub, as enduring material, the series can be utilized for any new providers joining the Collaborative. We also welcome all pediatric PCPs to join in the skill-building sessions regardless of their participation with the Hub.
