Overview

This will be the 31st year of the upcoming Annual Multidisciplinary Symposium on Breast Disease. The symposium provides a multidisciplinary overview of the diagnosis and treatment of all stages of breast cancer. Faculty includes experts in the fields of surgical, medical and radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, surgery, psychology, and reconstructive surgery. The target audience includes clinicians, specialists, health care providers and scientists involved in the care and treatment of patients with breast cancer, as well as research and education concerning this important disease. The program is 16.75 hours this year. It will be held at the Amelia Island Ritz Carlton.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Recognize current issues in breast cancer
  2. Describe new strategies and treatment for different types of breast cancer
  3. Identify the latest advances in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Accreditation

The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation

Successful completion of this CME activity, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirements of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.

The University of Florida College of Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 16.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
