UF Residency Faculty Development Medical Education Series (Online) Gainesville 2025 - Coaching from Good to Great

Optimizing learning environments, effective teaching models, developing individualized learning plans, effective evaluations and assessments and remediation of struggling learners. The series will be taught by master educators and leaders within the UF internal medicine residency programs and the college of medicine.


AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (1.00 hours)

1. Describe the keys steps for effective coaching in medical education
2. Apply at least one newly learned coaching model for an excelling learner who lacks insight on self-improvement
3. Apply at least one newly learned coaching model for a disengaged learner with professionalism issues
4. Share your strategies to coach a struggling learner who lacks improvement in the progress of his/her clinical deficiencies

The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
