Intrathecal Pump Therapies and Perioperative Management of IT Pump Patients

The Department of Anesthesiology's weekly case conferences and M&Ms are held most Fridays from 7:00 to 8:00 AM and are presented by faculty and visiting professors.

1. Understand the mechanism of intrathecal pump therapies and their indications
2. Apply appropriate techniques for safe intraoperative management of patients with IT pumps
3. Identify potential complications with patients receiving intrathecal pump medications
