Overview
This is a series of Cardiology Grand Round presentations from speakers from all around the world and of all levels, that will be 1 hour in length scheduled every 1-3 months, depending on speaker availability. This activity offers 1 credit hour and is intended for cardiology fellows, faculty members, nurses, ancillary staff, pharmacy team members and other trainees. The topics we have had in the past and plan to continue, have been, and are not limited to: Myocarditis and Heart Failure, SCAD, Cardiogenic Shock, Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Peripartum Cardiomyopathy, Identification and Elimination of disparities in Heart Failure, and Cardiovascular prevention. These lectures will be held on UF Health campus with Zoom access available and do not have commercial support.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Apply current practice guidelines in evaluation and treatment of heart disease and to be able to discern how practice guidelines derived from large population groups will apply to specific individual patient groups.
  2. Identify barriers for the implementation of best practice guidelines in heart disease to daily current practice and discuss means overcoming these barriers.
  3. Learn cost effective strategies to diagnose and treat heart disease
