The goal of this series is to increase knowledge necessary to best serve the medical needs of the University of Florida's student population. The topics are selected based on identification of knowledge gaps and include topics on depression, diabetes, STIs, hypertension, and other primary care concerns. The majority of lecturers are faculty within the College of Medicine and health professionals in the community. These lectures are held the fourth Wednesday of every month from 8-9am via Zoom.


AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (1.00 hours)

1. Recognize conditions and improve management of various illnesses affecting our patients
2. Identify and treat primary care patients for routine examinations as well as unfamiliar issues
3. Manage active patients with combined diagnoses of acute and chronic illnesses

The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
