Overview

Patient safety is a fundamental part of good healthcare, but most clinicians receive very little training in this topic. This course aims to give a broad introduction to this subject with an emphasis on explaining vocabulary that is shared across health care systems. At the completion of this course, the learner will have a strong foundation from which to explore self-education in patient safety topics specific to their own work. Clinicians will learn key patient safety concepts from this course and understand how these concepts apply to real-world situations.
