Trauma Responsive Care in the Context of Armed Conflict (Pediatric Enduring)

Pediatric Grand Rounds is dedicated to provide an update on current guidelines, recent advancements and promote quality in clinical care. The audience is community pediatricians, pediatric faculty, general and subspecialists, resident physicians and medical students. Topics are variable within the scope of pediatric medicine and expanded to advocacy and current affairs as they pertain to medicine. Presenters are faculty from UF, Nemours and experts in the field as well as resident physicians.

1. Describe the burden of armed conflict on children across the globe
2. Promote awareness about grave violations on children as defined by the United Nations
3. Identify the Impact of armed conflict on children's physical and mental health
4. Discuss the fundamentals of trauma-informed approach
5. Create strategies to mitigate the effects of armed conflicts on children from a pediatrician's perspective
