55th Annual UF Radiation Oncology Research Seminar

The goal of the 55th Radiation Oncology Research Seminar is to discuss cancer treatment techniques and disseminate research outcomes on the efficacy of those treatments. The event will take place on February 28, 2025 at the Hilton UF Conference Center over approximately 8 hours (one day). Presenters include faculty, residents, nurses, physicists, physicians and other health professionals in addition to a keynote speaker, who is a prominent member of the radiation oncology community and typically a chair of their department. A concurrent oncology nurse/radiation therapist program will also be offered.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (7.25 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (7.25 hours)

1. Recall, relate, and evaluate both gold-standard and innovative radiotherapy techniques.
2. Identify, evaluate, and discuss controversies that may exist with radiotherapy techniques
3. Recognize and interpret the success rates UF is experiencing with radiotherapy techniques.

The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation

The University of Florida College of Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Written refund requests must be received at least 14 days prior to the course. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN within 14 days of the course. Substitutions are allowed with advance notice. Refund and/or substitution requests must be received in writing by email.
