Urology Case Conference

The Urology Case Conference is a bi-weekly, interactive learning conference designed to prepare urology residents for oral boards, written boards, and in-service examinations. Each conference will consist of structured case discussions covering a broad range of urologic conditions. Residents engage in active learning through resident and faculty-guided questioning, integrating imaging, pathology, and evidence-based practice guidelines to reinforce diagnostic and treatment strategies. The format fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and preparation for board certification.


AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (1.00 hours)

1. Apply current evidence-based guidelines (e.g., AUA, NCCN) to clinical decision-making across a broad range of urologic pathologies.
2. Demonstrate improved clinical reasoning skills through structured analysis of urologic cases, including development of differential diagnoses and appropriate medical and surgical management plans.
3. Interpret and integrate urologic imaging studies and pathology findings into comprehensive patient care.
4. Identify and manage complex scenarios and complications through board-style case simulations.
5. Effectively communicate clinical reasoning and management decisions in a format consistent with oral board examinations.

The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

Credit Designation
