Ultrasound in OBGYN 2026: Innovative Practice for Advancing Health

Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology: Innovative Practice for Advancing Health is a three-day course designed for all sonologists who use ultrasound for screening and diagnosis in a clinical practice setting, including physicians, fellows, residents, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse midwives, nurses and sonographers.


AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (20.50 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (20.50 hours)

1. Integrate gynecologic ultrasound techniques to accurately diagnose early pregnancy conditions, including ectopic pregnancies and pelvic pain, and understand how artificial intelligence is reshaping diagnostic workflows.
2. Apply advanced imaging protocols for evaluating uterine and adnexal pathology—such as fibroids, adenomyosis, and adnexal masses—while interpreting sonographic findings in the context of fertility assessment and abnormal uterine bleeding.
3. Employ ultrasound guidance in obstetric scenarios—including fetal anatomical surveys, CNS anomaly screening, and placenta evaluation—to optimize fetal imaging quality, recognize genetic syndromes, and manage complications like placenta accreta spectrum.

The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

Credit Designation

The University of Florida College of Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 20.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy
Written refund requests must be received on or before July 15, 2026. A $50 processing fee will be deducted from refund requests. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER July 15, 2026. Substitutions are allowed with advance notice. Refund and/or substitution requests must be received in writing by email.
