Overview
The purpose of this monthly one-hour Grand Rounds lecture series is to provide an academic forum for neurosurgery residents, fellows, and clinical faculty to engage with distinguished neurosurgeons from across the nation. The series is designed to advance neurosurgical knowledge and foster evidence-based practice. Lecture topics encompass practice management, strategies for enhancing patient care quality metrics, updates on cutting-edge research, and related areas of scholarly interest. Sessions are conducted via Zoom and in person at the HVN Hospital Conference Room G552. This educational activity receives no commercial support. Presentations are delivered by University of Florida Neurosurgery clinical faculty and invited visiting professors, selected by the Department Chair, Dr. Brian Hoh.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Recognize the importance of the multidisciplinary approach to the care of neurosurgical patients.
  2. Assess emerging data and technical information regarding changes and progress in the management of typical and atypical neurosurgical patients.
  3. Discuss the significance of new surgical approaches and technologies for the treatment of various neurosurgical patients based on research and clinical outcomes.

The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
