Overview

This is a continuing series that is up to 1.5 credit hours. The intended audience is physician faculty. The program is presented in 1-hour sessions and covers topics including teaching skills, quality improvement and patient safety, and physician and trainee well-being. The live sessions of the series take place on the UF Health Jacksonville campus, or via zoom, and do not have commercial support. The presenters are community and College of Medicine faculty.

Credits
AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance Certificate (1.00 hours)

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Review characteristics of 4 major generations active in health care
  2. Identify the origin of "characteristics" commonly ascribed to current learners
  3. Discuss the impact of Generation Z students’ preferences and tendencies on medical education in the near future
  4. Develop potential strategies for better engaging Generation Z health professions students
